I’m Heather Jackson, and I’ve been passionate about education since 2015. I’m a proud graduate of the University of North Texas and am honored to serve as an Assistant Principal. On a personal note, I’ve been happily married since 2009, and my family is my pride and joy. I have three wonderful children: Gage, Dayten, and Presley. When I’m not at work, you can usually find me at my daughter Presley's cheer competitions, enjoying the great outdoors, or cheering on my favorite sports teams—Go Cowboys!

I have worked in the field of education for over two decades, with recent years spent at DAEP serving as the Social Studies teacher. Previously, I held the position of Associate Principal at Texas Can Academy. Before that, I dedicated over a decade to Dallas ISD, where I served as Principal of Molina High School as well as Assistant Principal at Carter High School and W.T. White High School. My previous experience includes serving as a teacher and Athletic Director/Coach at Hector Garcia Middle School and J.L. Long Middle School.

In addition to my roles within schools, I have consulted across the United States, training teachers and administrators in a variety of school districts.

On a personal note, I have been married for many years. My spouse has also devoted a distinguished career as a bilingual teacher in Dallas. We have two children—a daughter and a son—as well as a granddaughter.

My interests include golf, hunting, traveling with my family, and supporting local sports teams such as the Cowboys, Mavericks, and Rangers. Finally, I cherish spending time with my granddaughter.
