Waxahachie Independent School District is a public school district located in Waxahachie, Texas, a suburban community serving as the county seat for Ellis County, which adjoins Dallas County to the north. Waxahachie ISD is a district of about 11,100 students structured in 18 campuses: 10 elementary school campuses, 3 junior high campuses, 3 high school campuses, and 1 alternative-learning campus.

We have compiled a list of qualifications for our next Superintendent and the application is now available. All applications and supporting documents must be received by Thursday, March 13, 2025, by 4 pm (CST).
