Strong partnerships between WISD, community members, and local businesses are vital to enhancing the learning environment of our students and preparing them to be college and career-ready. Whether you represent a local business or you are a citizen who wants to get involved, we have a place for you in the Community Outreach Program.

Community Partners

  • Community partners are vital to Waxahachie ISD. Volunteers share their time, talents, and expertise. During the school year, more than 5,400 individuals give over 70,000 hours of their time. The district has many opportunities for individuals to invest in our district with the most precious contribution, the gift of time.

  • WISD’s Community Outreach department proudly connects the community with our students through field trips, job fairs, internships, job shadowing opportunities, and our longstanding on-campus partnership programs. Partnerships with our community businesses foster relationships that are vital to our community and the supplemental enrichment of our school system.
