WISD hosts the annual Back to School Bash in partnership with the City of Waxahachie, the Downtown Merchants Association, and several loyal business and non-profit partners to kick off a great new school year. Free hotdogs, cold drinks, and snacks are served. Community partners, WISD librarians, and student groups (including the WHS band, Charmers, cheerleaders, and athletic teams) provide games and activities for families to enjoy together.
